The GFG Annual Conference has long been known for its vibrancy and dedication to fostering friendship among our members. This year was no exception, as attendees from diverse corners of the globe convened to explore, discuss, and celebrate a shared passion for collaboration to achieve seamless global freight movement.

The conference was marked by a multitude of activities and discussions, but at its heart was the enthusiasm and spirit of partnership that filled the event. Delegates had the opportunity to engage with the GFG Board, presenting their ideas and visions for the future of the organization. Participants from all backgrounds came together to contribute their unique perspectives and insights.
One of the key highlights of the event was the emphasis on trust among GFG members. As a unique group composed largely of a single member from various countries, the GFG truly represents the global freight forwarding community. Trust is the cornerstone of the GFG – this trust is deeply rooted in personal relationships. It’s not just business; it’s about the bond between members, many of whom have been part of the group for over two decades. The legacy of the GFG is another remarkable aspect, as it often includes the second generation.

Additionally, new members are welcomed with open arms, creating an environment where trust is already established from the very beginning. Many new members come on board through referrals from existing members, underlining the respect within the GFG network.
As the dust settles from the successful conference in Barcelona, we are now focused on translating these ideas into tangible actions. We’re excited to work alongside our members and partners to realize our vision for a stronger, more united global logistics community.

Todd Mordecai, Vice President of USA Cargo Services and Chairman of Global Freight Group said:
With the 2023 conference all wrapped up, we’re already looking forward to the next milestone event – the upcoming 2024 conference is scheduled to take place in the bustling city of Atlanta, Georgia, USA. It promises to be another unforgettable gathering of logistics specialists, as they continue to strengthen bonds and redefine the future of global freight.
