ALEX GIBSON Maritime Life:
My first 35 years as a Maritime Professional were spent working for Ocean Carriers: Delta Line, P&O, CMA and Hanjin were noteworthy. Collectively these experiences prepared me for the next significant step in my career when in 2013 I began selling Ro-Ro and Breakbulk project services as an NVOCC and found it very satisfying.
With each “Project” shipped I have been grateful that I was able to help clients address, resolve and export their non-containerizeable cargoes. Whether these shipments were one-offs or repeats, each one was unique and required a different skill set than when moving uniform, standardized containers.
Now, thanks to my having met USA Cargo when I first moved to Atlanta in 1983, I feel that I have arrived “home”. Working with Todd, Richard and Bill as USA Cargo’s Project Manager is a privilege for me, and I am very glad to also be able to work with and for all the agent offices of the Global Freight Group. Therefore, please let me know what I can do to assist you and your clients move Project Cargoes from the United States to your part of the Globe.
